My story
Hi! My name is Mónica, I’m a brand designer and illustrator from Costa Rica. My journey in design and illustration started around four years ago, exploring it on my own. Working with clients and seeing my designs come to life on real products made me fall in love with this creative path. Later, I had the chance to formalize my skills by doing a master’s degree, which helped me refine my craft even further.
Since then, I’ve been helping businesses create meaningful brands and assets, always striving for each identity to capture its true essence and connect with the right audience.
My way of creating is both strategic and deeply human. I’m inspired by people and their stories, and I enjoy translating the quality of their products and ideas into clear, memorable, and intentional visual language. My philosophy is one of passionate dedication: always striving for the best possible outcome and refining every detail, so design becomes both a growth drive and a source of joy for brand audiences.
Musaline is the creative name I chose for my studio. While today it’s just me behind each project, I dream that in the future it will become a collaborative space too—a “muses’ club” where creativity can keep growing and multiplying, and where I can also share and teach illustration too.
I take freelance studio bookings for design, illustration and art direction, feel free to contact me at hello@musaline.com
